Long-time friends of the Sheldon-Mosher families, Glenn and Sally Boom purchased the old blockhouse adjacent to Mosher Castle, after extracting a promise from Dean to design their castle and to do much of the exterior trim and stonework himself, continuing the Storybook Castle theme. They built the A-frame first and appropriately named it The Gate House. 

Boom’s Hobbit Castle was completed and the Booms moved in the summer of 2020.
