About Pagan (Sheldon) Mosher, The Original Ballerina Princess
Mrs. Pagan Sheldon-Mosher grew up, or so the story goes...

Her Biography has been temporarily borrowed from Creative Outlet Dance Center as the castle chapters of her story are written.

While attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Mrs. Mosher, as she is affectionately known to her students, had seven years of Russian training with Ballet UAB. As a soloist with Ballet UAB and principal artist with the Alabama Dance Theatre, she performed in a great variety of dance and theatrical productions, as  well as in educational and advertising films.

Before becoming a partner in Creative Outlet Dance Center, she was an instructor at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Burchfield Ballet, and Ballet Mobile. She has also taught in various secondary schools and private dance studios and has traveled Alabama with the Artists in Schools program sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts. In 1993, she was the Dance panelist on the Alabama State Council on the Arts and Humanities.

For over thirty years, Mrs. Mosher has choreographed and Co-produced fall productions for CDT, The Children's Dance Theatre of Fairhope, executing numerous large scale scenery, prop and costume pieces. Most notably, Mrs. Mosher created the two Dancing Trees and the Crocodile for the Children’s Dance Theatre’s Production of Peter Pan. She then went on to create twenty separate, hand designed, mattresses and “Critter” costumes for The Princess and the Pea. In addition to her creative talents, Mrs. Mosher is the only Certified Fitter of Gaynor Minden shoes in the county.
